Glassnote Records and Little Green Cars are excited to announce that the band will be back in North America for an extensive fall headlining tour. The band will start off in Northampton, MA on September 22nd, making its way to Austin City Limits in October, and concluding the tour in Minneapolis, MN on October 22nd.
Little Green Cars' debut album, Absolute Zero, was released on March 26th in North America and has received high praise from fans and press alike. Absolute Zero debuted as the #1 selling album in the band's home country of Ireland and RELIX Magazine asserted, "The Dublin five-piece has a sound as lush as their native countryside and their heart-on-their-sleeves songwriting can make even hardened hearts shed a tear." Absolute Zero was recorded in Dublin with renowned producer Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Bjork, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay).
For a band comprised of 20 year olds, Little Green Cars' sound is remarkably mature as well as confident. With songs that are accessible, but certainly not cliche, it is no surprise that the Wall Street Journal decided that the group "may have turned in the weekend's best rock set" at Coachella this April.
